Normandy Rd.

This 1970s cottage went from dark and dated to bright and modern. We opened the kitchen and living room into one airy space, replaced carpet with white oak flooring, and swapped wood paneling for soft neutral paint.

The kitchen now features shaker cabinets, quartz counters, a farmhouse sink, and a custom island that anchors the room. In the living area, we kept the original fireplace but refreshed it with a clean whitewash.

The result is a warm, welcoming home that feels brand new while keeping touches of its original charm.
